With over 17 years in journalism, I began at FM Radio and covered significant events such as the September 11 attacks. Post studies in Washington, I rejoined the radio’s international news team. In Paris, I was a correspondent for NTN24 and RCN TV, where I covered presidential elections, interviewed renowned political figures, and reported on major events like the terrorist attacks in Marseille and Paris. In Argentina, I reported daily news for NTN24. Later, I joined Caracol TV’s “Los Informantes,” crafting 15-minute stories. Additionally, I’ve been a producer and location manager for French television agencies, extensively exploring Colombia and creating narratives broadcasted internationally.

Colombia: Bolivarian on the brink – The Butterfly Effect
In 2019 , I receive a call from Martin Weill one of the Biggest Reporters in France , he told me he wanted to have access to all the stages of Cocaine business in Colombia…That call led me to one of the most challenging investigations and to uncovering the most exceptional accesses… a journalistic challenge, as the locations and individuals were under constant risk of being captured by the police or killed by opposing forces.…in this 90 minutes Report we could tell how Cocaine’s widespread presence stretches from Colombia to Paris, weaving through regions like Guyana, Brittany, and Charente. The drug’s accessibility and affordability have escalated its use, now reaching beyond the affluent to include workers and artisans. This normalized trend, facilitated by digital platforms, has revolutionized drug dealing.
With Martin Weill as ankor and journalist , Jawar Nadi as director and me as local manager we embarked on a global journey, spotlighting key players involved in this trade. From secret lab workers to gang leaders, informants, and victims, we covered a wide spectrum. The origin of this issue lies in Colombia, where a staggering 1,400 tons of cocaine are produced annually.
Pablo Escobar : The king of Cocaine
Pablo Escobar was undoubtedly the most hunted man in the world. In the early 1990s, all Colombian police forces, as well as the American DEA and CIA, and even a specially created elite unit, the Search Bloc, were on his trail, from Bogotá to Medellín. Renaud Fessaguet ,Manolo d’Arthuys and Diana Valderrama relive, along with those who organized them, these long hours of pursuit in the heart of the equatorial jungle, where Escobar was hiding, in luxurious villas, surrounded by priceless works of art.
France : Immigration and fake documents.
In April 2008, a few hundred undocumented workers from the Paris region come out of the shadows. Despite the precariousness of their situation, some dare to openly display their fake documents. In the “Envoyé Spécial” report, I participated in undercover operations using hidden cameras to purchase counterfeit documents and apply for jobs using them. Our investigation revealed the existence of networks involved in producing these fake documents. Furthermore, we found that in many instances, employers are aware of their authenticity but choose to ignore the situation.
